Goalball is a fun sport specifically designed for blind and visually impaired people. It is a fast paced turn based sport, in which an audible ball is thrown to score goals past defenders. It is great fun and by wearing blindfolds, sighted players can play too.

Fen Tigers Goalball Club has been running for over a year and they have already been successful in a number of domestic tournaments. The club aims to increase participation in sport, provide a wider social network and improve confidence of people with sight loss. It is open to anyone over the age of 7 years and of any ability.

The Fen Tigers train at Neale Wade Sports Centre in March every other Saturday from 10am-12pm. The first session is free, then £3 a session thereafter. The club has two permanent team GB players as coaches and will also send a fully DBS checked team member to collect and return people to March train or bus station for an additional £2 charge.
