On Thursday 28th May, Barbara Allen hosted a pop up garden at her house in Orton Longueville. PAB fundraiser Norma Wildman helped with the organising and PAB provided some posters and leaflets to give out locally. The idea was to bring local people together and raise money for a good cause at the same time!

The party started at 2pm and over 40 guests arrived over the two hours. Each paid £3 entry which included tea and delicious fresh cakes – all made by our fabulous volunteers! There was also a guess the wine raffle where you had a chance to win a bottle of wine – or a bottle of water if you were unlucky!

Barbaras garden tea partyThe weather was very kind on the day having been a bit hit and miss the rest of the week and Barbara raised £235 which was all donated to the PAB. Some of the money will be used towards new information and promotion boards for use at future PAB events so that we can promote our services more and raise our public profile. It was a wonderful afternoon and great to meet so many new people. We would like to say a huge thank you to Barbara and everyone else who got involved.

If you would like to put on a event to help PAB, please get in touch and we will provide as much help and support as we can.
