Cambridge United is pleased to announce that for a fifth consecutive year they will be providing a dedicated audio descriptive commentary service for blind and partially-sighted supporters at ALL home League and Cup matches throughout the forthcoming 2015/16 season.
Organised and operated entirely by trained volunteers, this service utilises small individual hand-held receivers which enable supporters to listen to a specially-tailored commentary of the game wherever they happen to be within the Abbey Stadium. The service is completely FREE to all supporters, home or away, and in addition each user can be accompanied by one sighted guide who is entitled to FREE admission. Receivers are, however, limited in number so we strongly recommend that potential users reserve them in advance to avoid disappointment.
For more information on the service or to reserve a receiver please contact our co-ordinator Nick Parker on 07929 589925 or via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
