On Sunday 18th October we held another fun quiz night at the Sainsbury’s Bretton store. It was great to see so many people there, including lots of Sainsbury’s staff who came to support our charity. Sainsbury’s provided some free nibbles and donated all the profits from the hot drink sales to PAB. People also bought their own food and drink too – there was wine, mini picnics and even a pizza delivery half way through the evening!

The quiz is took place in the public restaurant on the ground floor and there was a real buzz in the room. There were questions on Peterborough, music, geography, sport…something for everyone. The quiz was won by the Sainsbury’s management team, who kindly donated their prizes (big tubs of chocolates – all donated by Sainsbury’s) to the raffle which was held at the end. Thanks to Sainsbury’s, prizes included bottles of wine, biscuits, sweets and chocolates. PAB members and volunteers seemed to do a clean sweep on the raffle so it was a great end to the evening!

As well as giving our members a fun evening out, we also raised £180 for the charity so we would like to say a huge thank you to Sainsbury’s for hosting the event and providing the prizes and to all the staff who attended and donated raffle prizes.
