Guide Dogs would like to thank all the people who have completed their latest bus passenger survey. For those of you who don’t know, Guide Dogs are seeking feedback from blind and partially sighted bus passengers about their experience travelling on buses – whether it is a talking bus or not.

Why is the survey important? The results from the last bus survey enabled Guide Dogs to produce ‘The Road to Nowhere’ report which helped them raise awareness of the need for more Talking Buses with MPs and Bus Companies. Previous results and feedback were used extensively by MPs in October 2013 in during Westminster Hall Debates, which helped secure a meeting with the Minister responsible for buses.

Guide Dogs have already had 100 people respond in Peterborough, but would like many more to help create the most impact whilst continuing to campaign for an  improvement in bus services to blind and partially sighted users. The bus passenger survey is open until 18 July so there is still time to give your feedback and it should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. Please click here to complete the survey on line or call 0800 688 8404.
