As Sainsbury’s charity of the year, they invited us into their Bretton store in September to promote National Eye Health Week (NEHW). We launched our first ever colouring competition and Sainsbury’s donated some fabulous ‘Minions’ prizes. We had some brilliant entries and deciding the winners was really tough. Congratulations to Brooke (age 4 years and 10 months), Henrietta (age 9), Danielle (age 11) Louis (age 8) and William (age 4) who all won a prize. You can download our free activity sheet and colouring-in pages from our website. These are a great way to introduce the subject of living with sight loss and to educate children on what life can be like if you are blind or partially sighted. If you know of any children who have run out of things to in the school holiday, or a social group or school that might be interested, please download them below.
