The Rotary Club of Peterborough have supported the PAB for a number of years now, giving us regular donations from fundraising and events that they host. This year they have donated £700 to us – money generated from the 2014 Firework Fiesta at Peterborough Showground. They have also invited us to have a Tombola and information stall at this year’s Firework Fiesta to help us raise our profile and generate some more income.
The money will go towards our trip to Hunstanton in July which many people are already signed up for! PAB Chair Carol Abell and fundraisers Norma Wildman and Sylvie Wheeler attended a lovely evening laid on by the Club, who were presenting cheques to many other local charities and good causes. Rotary members Marcus Horrell and James Hopgood can be seen above presenting the money to us.
