You may have heard that PAB was awarded funding from the Peoples Health Trust (funded by the Health Lottery) which is an independent charity addressing health inequalities across Great Britain. Part of the grant is the funding of a part time member of staff who can work more closely with our service users and volunteers to provide popular events and activities. The other part of the grant is to fund more local activities around Peterborough to encourage more service users to take part.

We need your help to make the project a success!  Tell us your thoughts about the events and activities we currently provide (good and bad!) and any difficulties you may face in attending them (maybe you are not confident leaving your home or cannot afford the transport costs). We would love to hear from you so that we can really improve our services and start reaching more people.

Are there any activities that you would like to do, perhaps if they were a little closer to where you live or if we could provide transport?  Our new part time Activities Coordinator needs your ideas – whether it’s for dining in Dogsthorpe or walking in Welland. Or perhaps you find it difficult to get out and would like somebody to visit you regularly in your home – maybe just for a coffee, help you read your mail or walk with you down to the local shop. Whatever you would like to see – please get in touch.
