Thanks to funding from the Peoples Health Trust, we have started a new walking group for PAB members and their carers. The group meets twice a month at different locations around Peterborough and is a great way to keep fit, socialise and explore different parts of the city. This could be one of the many parks or a guided tour of the city.

Our walks (usually lasting 1 hour) are guide dog friendly and on smooth surfaces for white cane users. We can provide volunteer guides if you do not have your own and can help organise transport to the different locations if required. Walks are tailored to the individuals and we go at a pace that is suitable for all.

Where: Meet at the location. PAB volunteers will be there to assist.

When: Each second Friday – contact the office for the time and location of the next walk.

Cost: Free (unless there is an access charge to the site).

Bring: Sensible walking shoes and a bottled drink if required.

Please contact the office for more information about this activity. If you enjoy walking in a particular place, please let us know why, so that we can organise a walk there.
